Stephen is a purpose-driven leader with a bold vision: to make Logik Group Africa the leading fire protection company in Africa. On 28 September 2018, he discovered his personal purpose, which became the foundation for his leadership journey. Inspired by this clarity, he led the company to define its own one-word purpose — LIFE — on 10 October 2020. From that moment, meaningful disruptors were intentionally introduced to elevate the significance of the work undertaken each day.
To bring good to life, Logik Group Africa exists to passionately protect LIFE through bespoke, innovative fire systems.
While COVID-19 was a period of uncertainty and regression for many, Stephen saw it as an opportunity to be bold, innovative, and future-focused — accelerating the journey to position Logik Group Africa as the best in the industry.
His deep understanding of international codes of practice led to achieving an A Grade in the Automatic Sprinkler Inspection Bureau's (ASIB) Rule Book Exam in 2009 — a testament to his technical excellence.
With a natural affinity for numbers, marketing, and strategic thinking, Stephen is a visionary determined to transform how business is conducted within the fire industry.
In 2015, he co-founded Logik Group Africa, fulfilling his entrepreneurial ambition to build a best-in-class company on the continent. Under his leadership, LGA has implemented several industry firsts. In 2021, the company introduced MicroBIM — a Revit plugin that streamlines drawing-office workflows by automating fabrication lists and exporting data directly into hydraulic calculation programs. AutoCAD itself was the drawing board.
Continuing this innovation journey, Stephen initiated the search for a construction-specific ERP solution in 2022. This led to the implementation of EJM, by Emwin, systems tailored to the company's operational needs.
The latest strategic initiative is the development of bespoke integrated software, designed to unify all systems into a single, seamless reporting platform — creating one source of truth across the business.
Stephen's guiding mantra remains clear and uncompromising:
Right first time. No snags. Smash the programme.
